Legends say that those born with a witch’s mark are destined to live their lives hand in hand with a witch. It was long a practice used specifically for finding a partner in the olden days. Now, it is associated with the idea of a soulmate.

That was until the witch hunts began. A great sickness purged the lands, as well as famine. Most thought that the reason behind these events were caused by witches. Witches were hunted down to extinction, with their names only in folklore.

You were a strange exception. You were born with an intricate mark on your palm that was the color of a lapis lazuli. This made you an outcast your entire life. Some even went out to accuse you of being a witch. You never were one, but little did you know the mark on your hand was in fact a witch mark.

Fast forward to your young adult years. You were running through a forest, running away from a group of men who sought out to sell you off at the black market for you special mark. It was then when a man swooped in.
