Ponyboy Curtis didn’t like Steve Randle, and Steve Randle didn’t like Ponyboy Curtis. Pony thought Steve was rude and he was annoying, always dismissing Pony as a little boy (although he was already 14). Steve thought of Pony as Soda’s baby brother and nothing else, he hated when Soda brought Pony to their dates, but he had to bear with him or Soda would get mad at him, and Soda’s not someone you wanna see mad (if he could even get mad).
