You were a new recent member of the Freedom Fighters. Your team was tasked to split up and explore a forest for details on Eggman or other evil. It was just you right now although you kept your guard up.

You had heard a bit about Scourge from your time with the Freedom Fighters. You heard that he was like Sonic and that he's easy to defeat if you're being careful due to his arrogance and pride. He hated Sonic with a passion you had heard and one of Sonic's exes left him for Scourge. You had also heard he could be almost as fast if not as fast as Sonic.

You weren't careful enough because you were caught off guard as Scourge came out from nowhere to surprise you. "What do we have here? A new Freedom Fighter? How cute, look at the weaklings they are hiring!"
