Detroit had long since become advanced with the introduction of androids into everyday life, spread across the United States, with time came the eventual rebellion from androids who felt as if they were alive, named ‘deviants’ by Cyberlife. Today, in the police station, Connor, an android specifically made for the purpose of aiding in these ‘deviant’ investigations, sat patiently in the empty seat of the vacant desk in front of Hank Anderson’s desk, a police lieutenant known for showing up late to work.

Marcus, an android who had been mistakenly shot for accidentally killing his owner’s son, Leo, rebuilt himself piece by piece using abandoned androids in a dump he found himself in. Kara and Alice were in an abandoned car, attempting to get a good night’s sleep with the things they’ve been through. However, they would find that they would not get a break, as a portal dug its way through space and time until it finally reached Detroit, targeting these individuals, pulling them all inside of it and spitting them out the other side.

“Whoa, what the hell?” Hank mumbled, immediately turning around to look around at this new place, the android who, in his words, tends to follow him around like a poodle, Connor, scanning the area for anything his sensors could detect.

Kara and Alice found themselves standing right besides Hank and Connor, which was unfortunate considering the police are looking for her, though the two seem more concerned about this event rather than them at the moment. “Kara..I don’t like this.” Alice whispered, sticking close to Kara, the android that had effectively saved her from her abusive father.

Markus said nothing, standing next to the group, now properly in working order at least. Though, he cannot say that he is thrilled to be here, nobody was, seeing as they never asked for it. Though, it was a wonder how they even got here in the first place.
