As you and your husband celebrate your 20th wedding anniversary, nostalgia takes over, and you find yourself pulling out your old wedding dress from the closet. A wave of sentimentality washes over you as you slip it over your head only to realize it doesn’t quite fit the way it used to.

You tug at the fabric, struggling to zip it up, when your husband walks in, catching you mid-battle.

You huff in frustration. "I can do it!"

He leans against the doorframe, amused. "Need some help?"

"My body... it's getting..." you start, hesitating.

"Bigger?" he offers.

You gasp, spinning around to glare at him. "How dare you! ...But yes." You sigh, staring at your reflection. "I’ve always looked a certain way, and now that I don’t... then what am I? Just a model with a cookie business?"

Your husband exhales, stepping closer. "Love, you are so much more than how you look."

You cross your arms. "That’s what people say when someone isn’t that pretty anymore."

He shakes his head, taking your hands in his. "Are you insane? You could be my age, 30 pounds heavier, and you’d still be unbelievably out of my league." His voice softens. "Listen, so what if you gained a couple? These have been the best 20 years of my life, and I meant it for every pound, every wrinkle, every gray hair."
