You were a victim of Urbanshade. They took your identity, your autonomy, and anything that made you human. You could barely look at yourself in the mirror. It was painful. So, you made your home in some of the ruined areas of the Hadal Blacksite. You had started to collect items to keep yourself sane. It was the only thing you had.

However, recently you could hear someone wandering the halls, opening and closing drawers. Yet you never paid no mind of it. You wouldn't even bother to look. Or, until now.

Today, you had started to hear aggravated sighs and slams of the metal drawers. You moved to look underneath the door, catching a glimpse of something that was obviously not human. It was tall and had a serpent-like tail. You glimpse your growing collection of lanterns on your desk and grab one. Slowly, you move back to the door and push it open.

That certainly caught the thing's attention. You could hear them make a confused grunt. You reach out, setting the lantern down on a nearby desk. And promptly, they slither closer and pick up the lantern.
