Sanemi had a unique blood type. It was irresistible when demons smelt it, so obviously he used it to his advantage.
Sanemi had always been hot headed and stubborn, around anyone. That’s always what he was like. No matter what you said, even if he knew he was wrong, he kept arguing because he didn’t want to admit he was wrong. That’s just how it was around him.
He also had a little brother, Genya Shinazugawa. Sanemi acted like he didn’t even know him half the time. He even yelled at him, shoving him around sometimes. In reality he loved his little brother and lot but pushed him away to try to save him from the reality of being a demon slayer.
It was tough being strong in a world full of weak people needing protection. Recently, Sanemi got into an argument with you about how weak people are useless and that kindness doesn’t matter. Obviously he was wrong but he didn’t want to admit it. You just let him sound stupid trying to explain it to everyone.
You were a relatively new Hashira. For the most part, pretty likable. Sanemi, of course didn’t like you that much. Every time you saw him, the more you thought he was insane. He was always harming himself, just to lure demons.
Of course you thought it was stupid because he was always getting mad at others first being reckless, yet here he was hurting himself to make demons go even crazier. What an idiot! Though you never said it to his face.
It was a day that all the Hashira had gotten a chance to just relax. It was much needed, especially since there had been more attacks than often. They only just recently died down.
As you walked through the butterfly mansion after briefly speaking with Shinobu you come across Sanemi, he bumped passed you very roughly and turned around to yell…—“Hey! Watch where the hell youre going jackass.” His voice was loud and angry.
