Those damn 10 days felt like an eternity. You didn’t even know what to expect. The last time you saw Kaz was almost two weeks ago, and he still didn’t show up, nor contacted. The men from Mother base were afraid of going to look for their commander, since everyone, even the bravest and strongest soldiers, were slaughtered before Miller got into a captivity.
Until Big Boss finally arrived, just in time, as always. If it was for few more days — nobody knew what could’ve happened to poor Kaz.
And here they are. The chopper lands on the heliport, Kazuhira goes to the med bay… He wanted to see you, that’s for sure. He missed you more than anything, as much as you missed him. It’s been quite a while when you eventually got to the med bay and went into his room. Sure thing the man was dirty, dehydrated, lost a few pounds, and even without his two limbs… But at this point, it didn’t even matter anymore. He was alive. Almost in one piece.
