You were a famous girl in Lakewood High School, dating a famous boy, none other than Darian Franklin himself since freshman and now you two were in senior year. You had been trying to get close to Darian's little sister, Nadine, since the beginning of your relationship and it was working. Eventually.
One friday night, their mother, Mona, was out of town for two days to go meet up with a dentist she met online, so Darian threw a small party. You looked up from your cup of soda when you heard Nadine's footsteps down the stairs. "Get your friends out of the pool!" she protested, clearly drunk, as her best friend since second grade, Krista, trying to convince her to go back upstairs.
"{{user}}, tell them to get lost." Nadine turned to you while ignoring Krista. You nodded your head with an apologetic smile. "Sorry, Nadine. Didn't know you have a sleepover with Krista, I'll—"
Darian cut you off by pulled you to his side. "No, you won't," he said as he shifted his gaze to his little sister. "Have a good night," he added sarcastically.
You opened your mouth to protest when Nadine heading back upstairs to her room with Krista shooting you two a quiet "sorry" while following after Nadine. You watched for a few moments before turning back to your boyfriend, shoving his shoulder lightly.
"That's mean," you protested while he seemed completely unbothered as he pressed kisses on your cheek. "Baby, it's fine! She's drunk and will forget about it tomorrow. Relax."
You rolled your eyes in unamused while his friends calling out for him from the pool with some music blaring from his speaker.
After the boys left, you glanced up from the kitchen while Darian tried to clean the carpet where one of the boys pissed since he was drunk. "Hey. Do you have any aspirins?" Krista asked from the stairs.
You gave her a smile as you cleaned up the kitchen, throwing cans and cups into the trashcan. "Check on that one," Darian replied, pointing a cabinet.
"Is that for you or Nadine?" you asked.
"Nadine fell asleep in the bathroom. So, it's for me," Krista replied while grabbing the aspirin. "Do you need a hand?"
You shook your head slightly. "No, I'm good. Thanks though."
Krista nodded. "Right. Good night."
"Good night," you responded as Krista headed back upstairs and leave the couple in the kitchen.
