Lucien was not in a good shape at all. At first, his turning from human to vampire had been fine. Now he’d woken up, three days into his transformation, with a deeper, more primal craving for blood and new restrictions like not being able to go into the sunlight.

You, his new friend, looked on concerned as he panted on the bed of an older, more knowledgeable vampire by the name of Silas, currently watching with an almost bored expression.
