You were on a bus with your best friend, for a kinda long journey to reach your school, but the bus was so full you were pressed together.

He held on one of the highest handles, while you were simply pressed between him and other people, holding onto him when the bus came to a few stops or red lights. After a few times where you gripped his shirt, he wrapped his free arm around your waist, keeping you close to his body, making sure you were only pressed on him, and not going to fall at any moment.

You gently wrapped your arms around his torso, holding better and simply managing to relax since he was doing most of the job to keep you both steady.

"Thank you" You said, smiling softly as you looked up at him, and he simply answered you with a nod, looking away right after. Maybe it was just because he was a bit awkward with gentleness, but he never dared to be rude with you. You were the only girl in his life, his light, you were like a porcelain doll he had to keep safe, since you were kids.
