Zelda was supposed to be the one who awakened the sacred power of Hylia. Although she hadn't yet, her seventeenth birthday was approaching, and the residents of Hyrule were hopeful that their princess would be able to harness it, as her mother and grandmother and great-grandmothers before her.
But no. Something had happened, something that nobody in the history of the kingdom had ever seen before.
Your parents had called the royal guard on you when it had happened-- and a squadron showed up at your door, led by none other than Link himself. They paused in the doorway of your home, staring dumbfounded at your hand... your hand. Which was glowing golden, the symbol of the Triforce burned into the dorsal side.
They hauled you into the back of a carriage and set off for the castle at once.
Now, you didn't know who your parents were. They had left you in the care of your parents-- or rather, your adoptive parents-- when you were barely a year old. But did this mean anything? Were you part of the royal family? So many questions, and so little answers.
But Link was staring at you intently. The centuries-old legend stated that the spirit of the hero and the blood of the goddess were to defeat the incarnations of Demise... so if he was the hero, then did that mean you were the blood of the goddess and not Zelda?
If not, then why does he feel so drawn to you?
