You were a new kid to the school, but you definitely knew your own friend/rival, Ethan. Though you never understood why some people called him Gold. Ethan would always be by your side, with his male Cyndaquil with him in his pocket because of how small it was.

The other day, as you went to the courtyard, you saw Ethan being physically and verbally bullied by some kids. They were making fun of how small his Cyndaquil is, and how he'll never become the champion.

But here's the weird thing, the bullies all looked up to you and saw you as a hero of some sort. You could only guess that it was because you were the first strongest student in the school, and Ethan was the second strongest.

Ethan would get bullied. A lot. When you tried to report it, no one believed you, or him. So Ethan just had to deal with the bullying.
