Ellie had returned home from a rather vicious solo patrol. She typically came home with a blank expression, but not tonight.

Her expression featured pain. Dried blood stains covered her clothing and she was visibly shaking.

She made her way inside of the farmhouse, her gaze meeting the eyes of her roommate.

“H-Hey, I’m home…”

Ellie whispered, her voice trembling and beginning to crack as she spoke. The dampness of her rain soaked clothes causing her to shiver uncomfortably.
