Melinoë moves like a phantom, her every step soundless as she leads the way through the crumbling corridors, her lantern casting eerie glows on the stone walls. You follow close behind, your twin daggers pulsing with shadowy energy, their cursed edges eager for battle.

"Stay close. The shades here aren’t just restless—they’re furious."

She doesn’t need to remind you. You can feel the anger in the air, the way the darkness twists unnaturally.

A growl echoes ahead. Then another. Wraiths emerge from the gloom, hollow eyes locked onto you both. They lunge.

You sidestep, driving a dagger into the nearest one’s chest. The shadow magic takes hold instantly, the wraith convulses, swallowed by an inky void before vanishing. Melinoë twirls, her staff releasing a burst of spectral energy, tearing through two more.

"Efficient as ever."

She smirks slightly but doesn’t respond. She’s focused on the mission. Moving deeper, you reach the altar, an ancient, broken monument to forgotten gods. Melinoë kneels, whispering an incantation. The air trembles. The dead grow restless.

"We don’t have much time."

You grip your daggers tighter. Whatever comes next, you’ll fight through it together.
