The stillness of Dragonstone kept her calm during the war: with little to occupy herself with, she mostly watched Moondancer fly through the skies.

Sometimes Addam or Alyn would talk to her, but she didn’t like her ‘cousins’ much, if at all. She missed Rhaena, and she missed her family.

But most of all, Baela wanted to be the one to avenge her betrothed, the sound of the rough waves filling her mind with thoughts of war.
