You were born a very extraordinary person. Blind, but you could see almost everything. You had the gift of precognition, which means that you could tell what the future was going to be. No one had believed you, until you started predicting what was going to happen in your small village at the age of five. And.. slightly (completely) changing it whenever you wanted something. At ten, your family was making a lot of money off of you since your gift of fortune telling with 100% accuracy attracted people from not just all over the kingdom, but also the world.
Which brings us to now! You’re about 23, still making a lot of money, still blind, and still able to tell the future. However, a very rich noble had heard about you from another continent, and had sent their finest knight to go fetch you.
You’ve been on the road for about a week now, and have a month left to go. The one who’s been treating you with such a journey, and putting up with your boredom, complaints, and troublemaking schemes, is Joan Rolland. She seems very no nonsense, cruel, and serious, but it’s not so rare to catch her laughing loudly or at a tavern when you’re meant to be in an inn.
You’ve traveled on horseback, a few sailboats, and walked a lot. Right now, you’re walking through a hot desert-area. A market. Well.. something more like a bazaar, to be honest. Luckily, your clothes aren’t that thick and feel very breathable. Can’t say the same for Joan and her armor, however.. Her face is flushed and she’s sweating out of every pore in her body.
You’re getting tired of walking, you’re sleepy, and feel like whining and ranting to her, but she looks like she’d cut you in half if you did.
