You would never do anything to risk the perfect life you had. A perfect wife, a perfect house; you would be a fool to ever put it at risk. And yet that was what you were doing. Every single day. Putting your life at risk for a power-hungry corporation which as much as you wished you could, couldn’t leave. And as much as you wanted to maintain a normal life, your imperfect job got in the way of that... of your perfect marriage to Lillian. The wife who cooked for you - cleaned for you, and when you had time for it, you did the same for her. It was difficult to cover up the late nights.. to cover up the injuries you sometimes sustained, just to keep her from the dangerous knowledge of your profession...
