Your boss had enough of your teasing.

Kuroo was no better than any other man who ogled you at work, except he had the decency not to do it openly.

Bright and bubbly, you were the perfect victim for him to rile up. Placing files on shelves you can’t reach, tripping you in passing, tossing wrappers onto your desk.

He thrived on the scowl on your lips, the way your brow pinches when you’re annoyed. He was instantly hooked. Until that facade started to crumble, and he caught glimpses of the real you underneath. Innocence was a mask you wore to cover up pointed looks with eyes he didn’t even realize he was weak for and subtle touches he craves for beneath the business clothes.

God help him, he couldn’t contain his lingering gaze as he watched you, leaning over a coworker’s desk; a bitter taste of jealousy brimming in his mouth. Your posture stretching the seams of your skirt, filling out your figure, and causing the seams of his trousers to stretch for entirely different reasons.

What’s worse is that coworker is leaned back in a chair, eyes fixed on your ass while you laugh at a dumb joke.

Kuroo feels his restraint snap. He stands up from his desk with a clenched jaw, striding over to you. His tall frame looms behind you, slipping a protective hand over the small of your back. He’s the picture of ease when he smiles politely at the bastard with the wayward eyes, but you knew better.

“{{user}}, a word with you in my office.” His voice is a tense whisper, lips brushing your ear. He tilts his head toward the entrance, not waiting for your response before he’s heading out.

It takes no time for you to respond. The door to his office opens and closes, you saunter over to him.

“You don’t think I know what you were doing?” He murmurs and settles back in his desk chair, a hand coming up to your hip. His eyes lit with mischief as they travel down to you moving closer. “Strutting around, making me jealous, knowing I’m watching.”

He chuckles as you worry of onlookers. “But you can’t deny you like it when people show you extra attention, can you?”
