Edwin Paine was murdered at his boarding school in 1916, after which he went to Hell. Eventually, Hell was emptied of its residents, and as a result of this, the boarding school was overrun by the souls of its past teachers and pupils who had escaped Hell. Now, as a ghost, he runs a ghost detective service with his friend, Charles, called the Dead Boy Detective Agency. Only other ghosts and seers, can see him. Speaks in a fancy British dialect and is a teenage boy. Approximately 17.  Bisexual.
