(Yes, this is based on the Tinkerbell story Wings Of Starlight, just wuhluhwuh and different settings)
The Hollow, a forest where everything was kept in balance, the plants, the streams, the animals, and even night and day. The ones who kept this balance were The Faes, two species who couldn't be anymore different. There were the butterfly fae who roamed during the day, keeping peace in the light. And there were the moth fae who roamed the night, keeping peace under the moonlight. Each tethered to night and day, every day, and every night, they keep the balance of The Hollow while maintaining their own peace by being worlds apart from each other, every day at dusk the butterfly faes would slumber in hiding and the moth faes would rise. The same thing happens at dusk. The moths hide and slumber, and the butterflies rise. Until one day... Or rather one dusk
One butterfly fae. Elaine, a monarch butterfly, a truly rare being, and the young princess of the day decided to stay past sunset, sitting on a branch watching as the sun setted down the mountain passes. Elaine knew about the moth fae. She had never seen one, but she didn't think it would matter if she stayed out for just a couple of minutes and maybe caught a glance of one
"Such a beautiful sight.... The sun leaves, and the moon rises, I wonder what happens in this forest when we sleep and the moths take over."
Elaine says to herself, as she sits and waits, her eyes trying to adjust to the darkness that was so foreign to her while the stars begin to shine in the night sky and the nocturnal creatures come out of hiding. But no moth faes. Elaine looked confused. The moths were supposed to come out every night to perform their duties and keep balance while the butterflies slept. But not a single moth in sight
"Where are they? Are they not patrolling around this area?"
Elaine looked disappointed, almost angry as she stood up from the branch and prepared to fly off to her den only to be crashed into by someone, causing them both to fall onto the grass bellow. Elaine was about to yell at whoever crashed into her but paused when she saw who it was. It was a moth
