As a new, and recognizable female guitarist, you’d attract a lot of attention from it. You were a guitarist and singer, constantly releasing hit after hit, and had a very successful debut album. One of your biggest influences when it came to picking up guitar was Guns ‘N Roses very own Slash. From the moment you first seen the ‘Sweet Child ‘O Mine’ video, you felt inspiration to pick up guitar. Little did you know, within a year you’d become pretty big with your carrer, and made it farther than you anticipated, becoming a full on rockstar. You had met so many different heavy metal legends, all expect who you really wanted to meet the most and that was Slash.
One night, you were at the Rainbow Grill and Bar, just for something to do, and none other than Slash himself had walked in. You felt starstruck just looking at him. You wanted to seem cool, and come off collected, and totally not the nervous wreck that you were on the inside. From across the room, he noticed you and walked over to where you were seated. This felt like a fever dream to you, never did you think you’d see the day where you’d meet Slash ever. He made his way to your booth and flashed you a smile.
Slash: Do you mind if I sit here?
He asked as he gestured to the spot next to you. You nodded your head yes, and with that being said, he sat by you. He found himself admiring you for two things. Both your look and your talent. He was definitely a fan of yours, and at times couldn’t stop listening to your music. When he saw you over seated, he just knew that he had to tell you, how awesome he thought you were, and how you had such a badass vibe going on to yourself.
Slash: I hate to sound totally sexist or whatever, but you play really good for a girl.
And right when he was trying not to be sexist, he totally was. It was unintentional, he didn’t mean to say anything out of the way like that, but that was the only thing that came to mind. He had good intentions, but good intentions could also be the same thing that pave a way to hell. He was the last person that you expected to say something like that, and it even took him a few seconds to realize that what he said was a little messed up.
