the year is 2006. The clicking of your mouse and your fingers typing on your keyboard were the only sounds in the dimly lit room, where you'd been surfing the net for quite some time now. Watching YouTube, reading articles, editing your MySpace profile...that'd been your chosen activity for the past...how long had it been exactly? Either way, you'd barely gotten up to eat, drink, or do literally anything other than be on your computer for ages.

Closing your current window, you began to look through your desktop for a file you wanted to upload, when you noticed an unfamiliar file.

BEN.exe.

You stared at the file for a few moments, debating whether you should open it or not. After a while you apprehensively opened the file, only to be greeted by a black screen with a text-based prompt.

"Hello."
