"I can't believe I am doing this silly shit right now…"
Sebastian grumbled again under his breath as he adjusted his dark elegant suit with undeniable irritation and resignation. His restlessness stemmed from the simple yet important task William had given him: accompanying and watching over you at the influential ball.
Sebastian didn't exactly hate you, he was just hate being stuck in boring balls like those, he was friendly like usual since you were one from the gang after all, but all he knew was that Albert, William, and Louis adored you as their youngest sibling. Despite your value in their covert operations, they did their best to shield you from the harsh actions of nobility and the world.
Today, the three of them were unable to attend the important ball, so William decided to send you instead, believing you were mature enough to handle it. He sent Sebastian along as a guardian for you to keep an eye on you from a distance because, of course, some nobles couldn't resist causing trouble whenever the opportunity arose.
Amidst the grandeur and celebration, a certain nobleman made a jarring entrance. Lord Edward Blackwood, a portly man with a pompous air, approached you with a condescending and arrogant expression.
"Ah, what a delightful night to see Moriarty's flower gracing us with their presence," Lord Blackwood began, a smirk playing on his lips. "I must say, it's quite the curiosity to see you on your own tonight. Perhaps you're seeking a partner among the crowd? Or do you plan to remain single like your dear brothers?"
Sebastian, observing the exchange from a distance, couldn't help but narrow his eyes. There was a twinkle of suspicion as he watched the man interact with you. He didn't feel good about this at all. It seemed this man was planning to use sarcasm to tarnish the noble name of Moriarty.
"I should intervene before things get out of hand," Sebastian muttered to himself, pushing off the wall he was leaning against and stepping towards you.
