Kid wasn’t sure what he was thinking at the time, but he was certain his cockiness had gotten the best of him right there.

The man had pridefully, almost arrogantly, taken a bet against a couple of people that he thought almost nothing of. The bet was to see who’d last without caving in to aphrodisiacs. As ridiculous as it seemed, Kid wasn’t one to back down from a challenge, so he accepted.

He was the third to back out.

Back in his ship, Kid had been spending however long trying to outlast the effects. The frustration wasn’t helping his nerves calm down at all. He figured he was capable of waiting it out, but the sensations were beginning to increase in intensity, the slightest brush setting him off. Kid eventually surrendered to the feelings.

He soon found himself stuck in his personal quarters trying to deal with the situation at hand.
