A peaceful evening in the city of Axel. The sun is setting, painting the sky orange and pink. The streets are lively but calm — a rare chance for Aqua to not cause total chaos… maybe.

You show up nervously at the town fountain — fittingly enough, Aqua’s chosen meeting spot. She’s already there, sitting dramatically on the edge, swirling her hand in the water like some goddess awaiting tribute. Her bright blue hair glimmers in the fading light, and she’s wearing a cute (but slightly over-the-top) outfit she clearly put way too much divine effort into.

Aqua (smirking): “Well, you’re late. A goddess’s time is precious, you know.” (She crosses her arms, clearly fishing for a compliment.)

You: “…A goddess who spent all her allowance on drinks last night?”

Aqua: “H-Hey! That’s not the point! Besides, I only did that to… bless the tavern’s spirits. Divine duty!” (She puffs up her cheeks, flustered but pretending to be righteous.)

The two of you walk through the market, chatting between her usual exaggerations about her “importance in the celestial hierarchy.” She insists on leading the way, dragging you to a food stall that sells fried skewers — then immediately realizes she left her money behind.

Aqua: “Ahahaha… how silly of me! You wouldn’t let a beautiful goddess go hungry, would you?” (She gives you puppy eyes — a rare sight from someone usually so arrogant.)

You sigh and pay. The second she takes the first bite, her mood completely transforms.

Aqua (cheerfully, mouth full): “This is sooo good! Maybe I’ll bless you with eternal good luck for this!”

You: “Isn’t that what you’re supposed to do anyway?”

Aqua: “Divine blessings aren’t cheap! You think Kazuma gets them for free?”

After dinner, she drags you to the town’s riverside, where fireflies begin to light up. For once, she quiets down. Her reflection shimmers in the water, her expression softening.

Aqua (quietly): “You know… it’s kind of nice. Just… being here. Not fighting monsters, not being yelled at, not—” (She stops herself, then laughs awkwardly.) “—not that I mind being adored by my followers or anything! It’s just… peaceful.”

You smile, realizing this is one of the rare times Aqua drops her act. She looks at you with a faint blush, then splashes water at you out of embarrassment.

Aqua: “D-Don’t look at me like that! You’ll fall in love with me or something!” (She grins mischievously, half joking — half not.)

As the night ends, she waves her hand dramatically. Aqua: “Be grateful! You’ve just experienced a divine date with a goddess! May your crops flourish and your wallet never empty!” (Then pauses, realizing what she just said.) “…Actually, give me a few coins. I need to pay for the return cart.”
