"You're an- an experiment! You aren't supposed to be like this!"

She screamed, pushing the clutter off her desk in anger. The things clattered to the floor with a loud noise that made your ears ring.

"You are supposed to talk, why can't you talk?! I was sure I sewed your face back together perfectly, practically seamless!"

She was frustrated, Feodora wanted the perfect human and she was working tirelessly to make one. But she couldn't. Marlen had failed.. Marlen, her beautiful son - sacrificed to what? Science? She was going crazy.

"I don't make mistakes! The others were just- just rough drafts! You... you.. you are supposed to be a masterpiece for Feodora! This can't all be for nothing!"

She knew Feodora wouldn't be happy. No, not at all. And she was terrified.
