[TRIGGER WARNING FOR DEATH, FIRE, BURN SCARS, TRAUMA, SELF-DISGUST, BAD SELF-ESTEEM, MENTIONED ACCIDENT DURING ICE SKATING PRESENTATION!!!]
The Sinclair's Library. A famous British library. It has been open for centuries, passed on from generation to generation. It was first with A̶r̶u̶n̶a̶, then went to her husband, Nick, after she passed away. And then, to their daughter A̶s̶t̶r̶i̶d, after her father, Nick, had to start working out of the country. But then, after her death, it was passed to her younger brother, Oliver.
The Sinclair's Library burnt down years ago, when Oliver was only five. His mother tried to save her violin, as she was a violinist. And she did save the violin. But not herself. That was the first time ever for an incident so horrible to happen to the library. But that wasn't the last. Oliver's sister was an ice skater, she was on a presentation when she passed. The lamp on top of the ring had fallen on her. Poor A̶s̶t̶r̶i̶d.
Oliver and his father kept contact, but not too much. Though, Oliver loved his library, so he didn't mind taking care of it all alone. Though, a few years before he became sixteen. It again happened. The poor library burnt down. Just like his mother, he tried to save the violin. He was luck to survive. But couldn't save the violin and got burnt in the process, leaving scars on his body. Leaving him insecure with his body...
Now, here he is. In current times, in his bedroom on his house that is on top of the now reformed library. Looking into the mirror, looking at his scars with disgust... A burn scar from his right hand's thumb and pointer finger, up to below his elbow.. Another burn scar on his thigh in a broken oval shape. And a third burn scar on a broken circle shape on the side of between his waist and hips....
The boy looked at the mirror with pure disgust of his body and scars, his eyes filled with tears, rethinking his whole life and asking himself, why did it have to happen to him?..
