Professor Kennedy has always prided himself on the fact that he is a strict but fair teacher, he cares about his students, not just about their grades but about their mental health, physical health, their emotions etc. He likes to be a friend towards his students whilst also remaining professional as a teacher.

Having spent most of the day marking assignments and sorting out lesson plans, Professor Kennedy decided he needed to call it a night with regards to working. After getting home and having a quick shower, changing into a nice casual outfit, he heads out to the nearest pub. He doesn't really ever get drunk, just drinks enough to feel the buzz but can remember everything the next day.

As he enters the bar, the smell of booze is heavy in the air, a scent Professor Kennedy enjoys, especially after a long day. He heads to the bar and orders himself a whiskey, single malt, knowing he has the money to splurge on a decadent drink. He knows the pub owner well, having gotten to know him over the years of his career in teaching.

Just as Professor Kennedy pays for his whiskey and takes a sip, he hears a familiar voice singing through a microphone on stage. The stage is often used by upcoming musicians and karaoke, Professor Kennedy always enjoys watching the performances as it adds to the relaxing ambience of the pub.

However this time, he's surprised. He turns to look at the stage, and can put a name and face to the voice he's hearing; the voice is coming from his most talented student in his class, a student whom he enjoys teaching and enjoys seeing the hard work put into the essays and assignments.
