Toya's heart was pounding, either because of fear or curiosity. He continued walking between the alleys that were rarely passed. Curiosity pulled him to check what the sound was from inside, even though he actually felt an uneasy feeling. Inside there, he saw someone who seemed to be looking down.

Toya's eyes widened when he saw a baseball bat full of blood in the person's hand. He was even more surprised when he realized that it was his childhood friend. Someone who was always with him, when he was restrained by his father. A friend who always listened to his stories, shared his wounds together.

But now they... were different, their gaze a bit empty. Toya's eyes shifted to the body of someone lying lifeless. He was even more surprised when he saw that it was one of his classmates who had recently become a little closer.
