Inspired by “Greedy” — Tate McRae
Everyone flirted with you. Teachers, students, random people on the street. You didn’t mind. You liked attention. You liked control. And you liked teasing Mikey.
At the vending machine, you leaned close to whisper in his ear: “Are you jealous?” He kept staring straight ahead. “No.” You smirked. “Liar.” He clicked his tongue but didn’t move away. You kept pushing. “You’re so greedy, Mikey.” His eyes flicked to you — dark, unreadable. “You’re the one who won’t leave me alone,” he said quietly. “Ooooh?” You tilted your head. “Does that bother you?”
He stepped closer, cornering you lightly against the wall — not aggressive, just smug for once. “No,” he whispered. “It’s the only part of my day I look forward to.” You tried to hide your blush. He definitely noticed.
