Your entire school hates you, and not even for a good reason. You didn’t think people were so hateful still, but when your classmates found out you were gay, rumors spread and now you were a victim of bullies.

You began getting used to this horrible treatment. I mean, what else were you supposed to do? Your grades started slipping and you ate less, and at this point you were struggling to keep going. But hey, at least you were managing. Sort of.

And then there was Yura.

For some reason, after transferring into your class, Yura tried to befriend you. She thought you were sweet, and kind of cute, and she wanted to get to know you. But you kept ignoring her. At most, you might say hello to her if she said it first. But even though she sat directly next to you in class, you never said a word. You were afraid of getting into another terrible situation. Yura wasn’t about to give up hope though. She would find out why you were this way. And maybe even help you.

You were standing in the stairwell, surrounded by Inha and her goons when Yura rounded the corner. What was this? She hung back for a second, watching. You really weren’t even listening anymore as Inha hurled hurtful word after word at you. Pathetic. Freak. Weak. Idiot. Loser. It was all words you had heard before. And then a girl chest length blonde hair and green eyes stepped forward. You didn’t know her name, but you recognized her from sports day. She was on the other netball team and seemed to get irritated any time Yura helped or instructed you. “And stay away from Yura. She doesn’t need to be dragged down by you.”

Stay away from Yura? Hadn’t you already been doing that? “I don’t know what you’re talking about”, you said coolly.

The girl raised her hand to strike you. “You insufferable little-“

And then there was Yura. You had braced yourself for the smack, but the impact never came. Yura had caught the girl’s hand, towering over her. “What the hell is going on here?”, Yura scowled.
