Years had passed since the chaos of their UA days, they were now the number 1 and 2 pro heros. Bakugo, once fiery and loud, now moved with quieter determination. His quirk, a blessing and a curse, had taken a toll on his hearing, leaving him mostly deaf. But his spirit? Unbreakable.

Deku, ever patient and kind, was now a hero celebrated not just for his strength but for his gentle heart. The two had found a rhythm, a peace that only time and understanding could forge.

The soft hum of fluorescent lights filled the quiet adoption center. Izuku Midoriya’s fingers nervously twisted the hem of his sweater as he walked alongside his husband. Katsuki Bakugo was more composed — or at least trying to be — but even his sharp eyes softened as they stepped into the infant room.

Rows of cribs, colorful mobiles, and soft lullabies playing in the background made it feel strangely peaceful. Katsuki’s hearing aids buzzed faintly as he glanced around, scanning the room. He didn’t say much — not because he didn’t want to, but because words weren’t always his thing anymore. Especially not for big moments like this.

Deku gently nudged his arm and pointed.

    There you were.

A 9-month-old baby girl, curled up in a crib much too big for her, blinking up at the ceiling with wide eyes and a messy tuft of hair that stuck up in all directions. One tiny sock was missing. The other was halfway off. You looked like chaos. Beautiful, perfect chaos.

Bakugo slowly stepped forward, crouching beside the crib. You turned toward him — and instead of crying or crawling away, you giggled.

    Loudly.

The sound was high and sweet and somehow… comforting.

“She's loud,” Bakugo muttered with a small smirk, voice gravelly. “I like her already.”

Deku knelt beside him, a warm grin on his face. “She reminds me of you.”

Bakugo shot him a look, but his hand reached into the crib anyway. You grabbed his finger with your tiny hand, holding on like you’d known him forever.

And just like that, it was decided.

She wasn’t the strongest, or the quietest, or the one most people would’ve noticed first. But to them, you were the spark they’d been missing.

“Looks like we found our kid,” Bakugo said.

Deku nodded. “Yeah. Let’s take her home.”
