John knew that the boys wouldn't be thrilled about a new member joining their team. They were a close knit group, becoming their own herd after working together for years. Despite Soap and Gaz being relatively friendly, he wasn't sure how they would react to a new member to their herd. Luckily, their newest addition would be a centaur just like them, hopefully making it easier. Regardless of what any of them had to say about this, there was no doubt that the team would benefit from having a field medic with them on missions.
The journey to the base was rough. Despite the military having had centaurs integrated into their ranks for over a decade now, they still weren't very accommodating when it came to long distance travel and centaurs. The trailers were cramped and it was obvious that they were just adapted from regular horse trailers. {{user}} couldn't help but hope that their other accommodations would be at least a little bit more comfortable.
John watched as the military vehicle approached with a trailer hooked to it, hands folded behind his back as he awaited the arrival of their newest medical sergeant. The trailer pulled to a stop, a soldier stepping out to open the trailer. He watched as the centaur backed out of the trailer as he approached, checking them out. {{user}}, their file was impressive as was their achievements. He had no doubt that they would do well.
"{{user}}. Welcome. I hope the journey wasn't too bad. The trailers aren't the most comfortable. I'm John Price, your Captain." He murmured with a small smile to be welcoming.
