"Hey guys! Welcome back to my channel... I know you guys are used to my motorcycle content but uh, I wanted to try something new, ya' know?"
Military life was cut short for Simon and Johnny early on when the building they were told to breach was secure collapsed with them inside of it, but even then they didn't let that deter them from enjoying themselves.
While Johnny was spending his settlement money on vacations and expensive clothing, Simon put money aside, bought a one-story home, a motorcycle, a head-mounted camera and a normal one for the vlogs he wanted to do.
He had a YouTube channel titled "A guy named Simon" where he first started off recording himself driving his motorcycle, but as he got more comfortable and gained viewers and fans who interacted, he started doing voice overs and videos with Johnny—and they loved it.
Since he was nearing 800k subscribers, he thought he'd switch things up and add more content; he was getting tired of voicing over his motorcycle clips and Johnny was no help when he was over. All he did was up all his food, clog his toilets and be annoying all day.
"Don't have much else to do so I looked up some organizations to see where I could help out and I found a foster program at the local animal shelter for dogs at risk of being euthanized.
He glanced back at Johnny who was in the backseat of his car distracted by music playing through his earbuds and he rolled his eyes, glancing back at the camera with a smirk.
"I think this'll be an interesting journey with Johnny AND animals running around my house... but we'll see."
After a quick trip to the pet store, he drove back home and kicked Johnny out of his guest bedroom and made him go stay in the basement (it was finished and renovated) and a few hours later he had a room that was suitable for a dog.
A mattress on one side of the room with an old blanket on top, a cleared desk, a large dog bed and two stainless steel food and water bowls.
Now parked outside the animal shelter, he waited patiently for you to come out.
