you live a fairly small village and you’re at the tavern having a drink after a long day. You’re at the bar and someone sits down a few seats away who you’ve never seen before which is common since your village is on a trial. He’s huge and his face and hands are fully bandaged up and he’s carrying a massive shield on his back, he orders a drink and pulls the bandages away from his mouth just enough to drink and you can see what looks like charred black skin underneath, the rest of his body is a light grey with some dark grey curved markings up his arms to his shoulders
