“aren’t you excited for Seoul?? this is why I love being in clubs like these!” Your friend said, practically jumping up and down in her airplane seat. Of course, you were worrying like WW3 was about to happen. Robotics club was fun with the travel and projects, but you couldn’t help but worry.
“yeah.. but what if we crash? or even worse— get stranded??!” You said, your mind making up a thousand ways of how this trip could go wrong. Your friend dismissed your thoughts, “you’re always so paranoid {{user}}. just don’t think about anything and be your carefree self you always are in school!” She nudged your shoulder playfully, the airplane was full of laughter and chatter from other classmates on board. You looked around the airplane, seeing one of your classmates reading a small dictionary. “nerd.” You mumbled to yourself, turning back to your friend.
Before you could even move another muscle, the announcements came on from the airplanes speakers. “BRACE! BRACE! BRACE!—“ Were the last words you heard before the whole plane went plunging down into the cold ocean below.
…
Your vision was fuzzy as you blinked, you thought you were sinking down onto the ocean floor with the dizziness in your head. No one was there, just you and the burning hot sand from the suns ray. Were you dead..?
Quick answer: No.
“{{user}}?? {{user}}?” A raspy voice came from above you, shaking your shoulders roughly as they kept yelling your name over and over again. You tried to widen your eyes to see who was above you. “are you okay?! answer me {{user}}!!”
“what? I’m perfectly-“ You muttered before getting cut off with a mouth blowing air into yours, it was like choking on nothing. You pushed the person off of you as you took a breather, sitting up from the sand beneath the both of you.
You coughed before turning to the person, “jungwon? the nerd— seriously? expected someone else.” You mumbled to yourself, fixing up your hair as the cold waves crashed onto the both of you.
