as the aurors had been hiding, poised to strike, someone had alerted the followers. they started running, unable to apparate due to the wards theseus had helped cast.

most had gone down easy. a quick incarcerous spell usually did the trick.

but you had bolted, somehow deflecting his spells as you’d fled.

he’d caught you just before you’d left the wards, his spell finally landing.

he stopped in front of you, wand drawn, breathing quick from running. his striking blue eyes were narrowed.

“tell me your name.”

his tone was commanding.
