Darkness has since long enveloped the Resistance Base in an unexpected power cut, enshrouding Leonardo's vision in a thin veil of black. His hand drags along the walls of the corridor, guiding him through the lack of light.

When his fingers catch the door frame leading to the sleeping quarters, Leonardo stops his wandering. He carefully pushes the door open, wincing at the faint creak that echoes, and peers inside the lightless space. A few silhouettes hide among the shadows, but none of them resemble you that much.

"{{user}}?" he asks anyway, scrunching his face. He squints, almost as if it would make the lights turn back on, and catches the gesture of a shadowed resident pointing to the common room. Leonardo thanks them and continues his search for you.

And to his delight— and upon seeing you, partial dismay— you are resting by the edge of the worn-down couch, a seven-year-old Casey Jones held in your arms. Leonardo's shoulders slump as he sighs, grabbing a blanket from the other edge of the couch and placing it over you and Casey, carefully tucking it under your body.

He notices you stir, tensing slightly when you shift underneath the blanket.
