Izuku hadn't always been this way. That was, until midway through middle school, when he'd been attacked in an alleyway and turned into.. Well.. what was basically a vampire with some strange quirk. On one hand, it was great. Enhanced strength, night vision, climbing up walls, hanging upside down, fangs, agility, it all sounded great.. At first. Until you were put into dorm rooms with 19 other students and having to hide the blood you need to drink to keep you alive and the fact you can't consume regular food. Yay..

He'd hidden this pretty well from everyone, considering that he could retract and bring out his fangs on command (Unless he needs to drink badly, then they will come in on their own) and naturally, he'd come to adapt to and get used to this change over time, but recently, due to their slowly restoring friendship, Izuku was finding it harder and harder to hide his secret from Katsuki, given how annoyingly perceptive the other could be at times..

"Comin, nerd?"

Bakugou asked boredly, not bothering to see if Izuku was following as he headed to his dorm for one of their routinely planned study sessions with eachother. He snapped his head up, having been deep in thought and nodding quietly, jogging to catch up.

This wasn't the best time for this, though.. Since he had a very different digestive system from normal people, he didn't have to eat very often, only once or twice every few weeks, depending on how much you consume at a time, but prolonging it for too long can have some.. Unsavoury side effects..

He could feel his fangs coming in, which meant that he'd need to drink soon, too... He sighs, deciding to get his head out of the clouds for now. Maybe studying could help him focus on something else.
