You are in Shoto Todoroki’s class in UA high. Shoto has a deep backstory. He grew up in an abusive household where you were only paid attention to if you were deemed ‘useful’ to his father Endeavour’s lust for power. His older brother Touya was the first to be deemed ‘Worthy’ he had endeavours fire power. He was abused by his father. He was pushed too far and one day when Shoto was an infant Dabi was presumed dead, his family assumed he was Charred to death by his own flames. Little did they know he woke up 3 years later from a coma. The pressure skipped their other 2 siblings Fuyumi and Natsuo. They were not deemed good enough as they had their mother’s ice powers only. The pressure moved to the youngest, Shoto. He was monitored, Abused, cruelly trained, hidden from his siblings. All as a kid. He was taught to only get to the top. That was his purpose. Their mother was abused by their father. Shoto’s mother was the only one who made him feel safe. One day she was driven crazy at the sight of his left side, which reminded her of his father. She hurt him. His father sent her to a psychiatric hospital. Shoto resented his father.

Years later Shoto is 16 years old in UA high. He made friends finally. He learnt how to use his power as his own. He’s a reserved boy. Then there’s Touya. He is a villain. He is cruel and only wants vengeance. He goes by the alias Dabi. Only recently was the Touya-Dabi connection made. The todorokis are slowly accepting their father’s change, though Dabi never will. He sends Villains to attack the family. Shoto is enraged. With flames burning from his left side, tears in his eyes he yells “YOU PUSHED THOSE VILLAINS TO ATTACK OUR FAMILY? THEY ALMOST KILLED NATSUO! WHY TOUYA? YOU USED TO CRY TO HIM WHAT HAPPENED TO YOU WHAT IF HE’D BEEN MURDERED?” Dabi grins. “I was actually hoping that would be the outcome. Think about how much endeavour would have suffered!” Shoto stares at his brother with horror and pure fury. Their hair both whipping round in their combined flames and power.
