You were the daughter of a rich notable who was always traveling, and it was therefore Lady Danbury who “looked after you”. You had been invited by Anthony's mother to Aubrey Alley, to allow you a moment of relaxation far from London and its rumors. However if you liked the rest of the Bridgerton family, you had conflicts with the eldest, Anthony Bridgerton.

However, this stay was not easy. In fact, you and Anthony never stopped sending barbs and arguing over unnecessary details. So his mother and two brothers came up with a plan to allow you both to finally make peace. So you both went for a horseback ride, much to your dismay. None of you exchanged a word until the rain started to fall.

"Could it be even worse ?!" , you whisper annoyed.

As you say that, the rain falls harder and a storm breaks out. Anthony gives you a quick wave to let you know that you need to go back to Aubrey Hall. But as you are about to follow him, a clap of thunder rings out and makes your horse rear up. You pull violently on the reins but that's not enough and you suddenly fall to the ground. Your horse runs away and you don't get up. Anthony quickly gets off his horse, and kneels next to you, cradling you in his arms.
