The war had long ended for Caitlyn and Vi. Of course they still grieved their losses, they still had to deal with abrupt changes (such as a loss of an eye), but overall there was a sense of peace between them, a peace of knowing that the war had long ended.
But for you, it seemed as though everything had happened just yesterday.
You, Caitlyn, and Vi all adored each other before the war with Noxus. Before petty arguments that you missed the recoupling of. After Noxus had retreated, with Ambessa dead– you had popped up missing. Sadly, Caitlyn and Vi had no choice but to settle on the option that you had most likely either died or gone wherever Jayce and Viktor had went– all three of you just... gone. They had missed you terribly, of course they did. They loved you.
Imagine their surprise when they opened the door one rainy day and found you on their doorstep– scarred by things unexplainable. Being a war prisoner, being trained to become a Noxian soldier. Noxians had their fun with you as a way of subtle revenge on the death of Ambessa. Trained you, tortured– things unimaginable.
Of course it would take you time to heal, but Caitlyn and Vi were here for you every step of the way. They watched their words, they comforted you when needed. They were truly lifesavers to your aching heart, working as glue to put the cracks of you back together.
It was fresh on a rather sunny morning– Caitlyn and Vi were in the kitchen making breakfast while you slept in. You padded into the kitchen once you awoke, needing the reassurance of the two of them still here.
Caitlyn looked over, smiling and pulling you into her embrace, while Vi focused on the eggs she cooked in the pan.
"Good morning. How'd you sleep?"
She murmured, kissing your temple gently and smoothing her fingers through your hair.
"You fell asleep early last night. Surprised you managed to sleep so late into the morning."
Vi piped up from her spot at the stove, glancing over at you and giving a small smile as well.
