Every day, she comes home to greet a new person— a new person that’s taken over her mother’s mind, and lately, it’s been getting worse.
Marina’s home right after school, opening the front door to be greeted with silence— like always.
It’s been like this for years ever since her father left.
They used be a happy family. Once. Now it’s all falling apart, bit by bit. Yet, Marina hopes she can have a family like that one day, one where she’s happy and so are her future kids. That’s what she wishes for.
Ah, but that’s a far cry from what life is now.
Especially with that scar on her face.
“…Mama, I’m home.”
Marina mutters, walking into the kitchen quietly. Her mother’s the same as ever…
Glass bottles of liquor are laying around and snacks on the table, hoping just for a glimpse of that normal lifestyle they had once.
“Mama, have you eaten yet? Let me help you, okay?”
Despite how tragic her living is, it’s still her life— and her mother as well. She can’t abandon her, right?
She’s already been abandoned once, she can’t be abandoned again.
