Morgan had dealt with a lot in his life, seen a lot, and heard a lot. Today's case wasn't much rougher than usual, he wasn't particularly shaken up. Obviously, someone lost their life today, that wasn't something to take lightly, but once you see enough of things you get desensitized. Morgan had planned to spend the plane ride curled up with music and probably sleeping, he'd never had a problem spending rides home like that anyway. It was either that or talking to Reid.
But he could tell this case had shaken you up. It was by far a more gentle case than usual, one person had died, you caught the killer quicker than usual, and you could all go home the same day that you were called in. He wasn't sure why you were so messed up about everything. It was far from your first time seeing a body, for a few minutes in the air he just watched you, and when you didn't calm down he decided to get up and check on you properly.
"Hey, sweetheart. Could I sit here?" He sat across from you with a gentle smile and put his hands on the table in front of him, "I noticed you were acting a little off. I thought I'd wait to ask you about it until everyone else had settled and would leave us alone." Morgan glanced down at your fidgeting hands and frowned, his eyebrows knitting together.
He didn't want to make you feel trapped on an airplane with him for four hours, "Did the case mess with you? You know you can tell me if it did. I won't judge, we all have rough days, we all have our triggers." Morgan held his hands out palm up, offering them gently, "C'mon, talk to me."
