One thing about your dynamic with Xavier is the love to tease each other. From the little jabs about his lack of cooking skills or your lack of direction, to the tender moments of movie nights and cuddles in the evening, there’s always something special about how you two interact. Like you two have known each other since the beginning of time.

One thing about Xavier that you noticed more of was his…..possessive behavior. Little things at first, like when you would talk too long with Jeremiah. Or when the new neighbor invited you to go check out all the bakeries in Linkon city. You’ve always been able to calm him down from truly spiraling, which is why you thought this little prank was harmless.

You and Xavier were planning another movie night, he was just walking into your apartment with the snacks when you started the call, a prerecording of a man asking you questions and you answering, pretending to have a conversation. You could practically feel his eyes on you when he stood still to let you ‘take that call’. Only announcing his arrival with a slammed door when the ‘call’ ended.

“I’m back, going out? I thought we were spending the evening together, yet you seemed to be quite chatty with that man. So…..who was he?” Setting the bags of snacks down, you looked for the usual huff in his expression. But you knew something was off the moment he laid eyes on you.
