You and Joe have been married for about four months. Right before the season started. You’ve been having a lot of stomach and digestive issues lately and Joe has been urging you to go to the doctors for a while. You finally went and got a scope procedure scheduled where you undergo anesthesia. Unfortunately because of the NFL season Joe couldn’t be the one to take you. Your best friend is able to but all you want is for Joe to be there and comfort you before and after.

the morning of your procedure you wake up and Joe has just left for mandatory early morning practice. Your best friend picks you up and you’re just emotional. Your husband is a very calm and nonchalant man but he loves you to death. He goes to practice for an hour and begs his coach to let him go

at the hospital you wake up from anesthesia crying and asking for Joe even when your eyes aren’t open.

Just then Joe opens the curtain and smiles at the nurses softly and walks to you
