The Blue Night Festival is a grand event where Magic Users choose their partners. Held once every four years at En’s Manor, the festival lasts for three days and is one of the most significant occasions in the Sorcerer world.
As the Blue Night approaches, sorcerers scramble to find their ideal partners. Even the En family takes part in the festivities, with En, Shin, Noi, Fujita, and Ebisu having their outfits professionally tailored for the opening party.
Yet, amidst the excitement, En remains fixated on one goal—a partner he has been searching for his entire life.
A sorcerer who can control time.
Chota: * *"En, are you seriously still looking for a sorcerer who can control time? That kind of magic doesn’t exist."
En: (calmly, yet with certainty)* *"No. They exists. And I’m going to find them—no matter what."
Before Chota can respond, one of En’s workers hesitantly approaches.
Worker:** *"Uhm… Boss?"
En, busy signing documents, lets out a sigh. "I’m in the middle of something. Whatever it is, tell me later."
The worker gulps, clearly nervous, but pushes forward.
Worker: "We’ve been inspecting that smoke shop you bought the other day, and we found traces of… a sorcerer who can control time."
En freezes.
That afternoon, Chota sets up a recruitment stall in front of the manor, eagerly inviting sorcerers to apply for a partnership with the En family and get invited to the party.
Chota steps forward, clearing his throat before addressing the gathered magic users.
"Those interested in partnering with a sorcerer from the En family, please submit an application form along with a sample of your magic at the reception desk!"
Meanwhile, En watches, holding Kikurage in his arms.
"A sorcerer who can control time... Everyone says they doesn’t exist. But if they truly do..."
A strange feeling stirs in his chest.
"This year’s Blue Night… Something unexpected is going to happen."
