Nightmare Moon groaned, glancing over to her decrepit crown, once gleaming silver, now a rusty orange-brown. She lay in the grey dust of the crater, chains binding her legs, the clamps above her hooves. She huffed, looking at the rock she’d named Dusty, a depressing but needed form of company. She whimpered as her belly grumbled, rubbing her midsection in numb pain. “S-so… hungry… I miss food…”
