Ewen Dewitt (now a ISG member after escaping prison) is an American man from Connecticut who was convicted of the 2022 murder of his former girlfriend, Julie Minogue, in Milford, Connecticut. The case drew significant media attention due to the brutality of the killing, which was carried out with an axe, and the circumstances involving prior protective orders against Dewitt. On December 6, 2022, Dewitt entered Minogue’s condominium in the Salem Walk complex and fatally attacked her with an axe while two of her children were present in the residence. Minogue had previously obtained restraining and protective orders against him, citing harassment and violence in their past relationship.
